lange Zeit habe ich immer alleine vor mich hingewerkelt, aber jetzt habe ich eine Nähfreundin. Wir wollen uns wenns klappt einmal die Woche treffen. Die letzten beiden Wochen hat das auch schon gut geklappt, wir haben Punsch getrunken, geredet und genäht. Einfach schön. Und das ist dabei herausgekommen. Eine Claire. Eigentlich wollte ich sie für mich nähen, musste aber dann feststellen, dass sie perfekt zu den Wünschen meiner Cousine passt und voila, ich habe mein erstes Weihnachtsgeschenk. Der Blätterstoff ist von Ikea, dazu einen leichteren Cordstoff und Spitzenband. Ich muss mir die Tasche wohl selbst dann nochmal nähen. Ich freu mich auf jeden Fall schon auf den Nähabend dieser Woche.
For a long time I just worked alone, now I actually found a sewing-friend. If possible we want to mmet once a week. The last two weeks it worked perfectly, we drank some punch, talked and sewed. It was so nice. And that´s what I made. A Claire. I wanted it for myself, but had to admit, that it is just perfect for my cousin and voila, I have my first christmas present. The light grey fabric is IKEA, some light weight cord from the local fabric store and some lace binding. It seems I have to make another one for myself. I really looking forward to the sewing evening this week.
